Our Forensic Automation and Cognitive Technology Services teams are built to streamline digital investigations, enhance electronic evidence discovery, and accelerate decision-making across forensic, legal, and investigative domains.The ideal candidate will have a combination of background and experiences across information governance, digital forensics, electronic discovery, and data analytics. You'll be assigned a dedicated coach to mentor, guide and support you through regular coaching sessions and serve as an advocate for your professional growth.As you progress through your career at FTI Consulting, we offer tailored programs for critical professional milestones to ensure you are prepared and empowered to take on your next role.What You Will Need ToSucceedBasic Qualifications5 years experience related to industries or services related to the Electronic Discovery Reference Model, and familiarity with forensic technology softwareBachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics) or related fieldFluency in Python and hands-on experience creating customized solutions leveraging advanced Python packages (e.g., scikit-learn, PyTorch , statsmodels )Experience with APIs and ability to independently collect, integrate, and analyze data from cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)Demonstrable expertise navigating cloud-based enterprise systems (e.g., M365, Google Workspace, Slack)Hands-on experience developing, tuning, and validating machine learning models, including hyperparameter optimization, feature selection methods, cross-validation, error analysis, bias-variance tradeoff management, model interpretability, and robustness and performance monitoringStrong communication skills with the ability to align client needs with functional solutions, and effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholdersClient-facing consulting experienceExperienced managing people on fast-moving, high-profile engagementsApplicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; this position does not provide visa sponsorshipPreferred QualificationsMaster's degree in Computer Science , Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related quantitative fieldFamiliarity with forensic technology software (e.g., EnCase, Axiom, Cellebrite, NUIX, Relativity, and Reveal)Fluency in R, particularly as it relates to data visualization and statistical programmingDeep expertise in machine learning algorithms (regression, classification, clustering, time series, NLP, etc.) and statistical modelingFTI Consulting is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, protected veteran status, religion, physical or mental disability, marital status, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, or any other basis protected by law, ordinance, or regulation.CompensationMinimum Pay:$123,500Maximum Pay:$182,000Compensation Disclosure: The compensation range reflects potential base salary for the role.
